Here are a few of my favorite images from the weekend trip we took to Portland, OR. We also managed to squeeze in a visit to the Oregon coast. Seven hundred miles and a lot of pictures along the way. More pictures can be viewed on my Picasa Site.

Big eyes!

Saurya’s First Haircut

July 17, 2008

Saurya’s hair was getting just too long. And with the hot weather we have had in Seattle recently, we wanted to give him a haircut so he could cool off. I bought a hair trimmer set and went to town on giving him a new do. We were all amazed that he did not even cry. Instead, he was really intrigued by this gadget that was buzzing around him! His curiosity got the better of him! Here he is sporting his new style:

On Saturday we went for a picnic at Genesse Park on the west shores of Lake Washington. I used the 70-200 VR to take these portraits. Mostly shot wide open, spot metered. Processed using Lightroom 2 Beta.
